THE CINTA SENESE PIGS SELECTED TO MAKE RENIERI’S CURED MEATS ARE REARED UNDER A FREE-RANGE SYSTEM, AND LIVE IN WOODLANDS DOMINATED BY OAKS AND HOLM OAKS, OLIVE AND STRAWBERRY TREES.

This particular rearing system gives the meat unique flavours and characteristics, enhancing its tastiness and succulence, and giving it a more intense flavour and red colour; due to the higher content of unsaturated fatty acids, it also has better dietetic properties.
